Hello, dear friends! I’m L.S. a.k.a Miss Inspired and I’m so excited you are here visiting The Inspired Place!
Have you ever wondered how God could love someone like you? Or maybe you feel unworthy of His love? If so, I’ve been there and know exactly how you feel. Chin up, He loves you with a love so deep the ocean doesn’t even compare to the depths of His love. That’s pretty deep isn’t it? 😉 You can read the story here of my personal account of how the Lord helped me to understand and know His love for me.
How the Blog Began
It all began in the middle of the night. It was December of 2015. With my newborn son cradled in my arms, the Lord let me know. “Now is the time.” My son was feeding peacefully as the blue light from the computer screen lit a small area of the blackened room. I plodded away on an old laptop that was in dire need of replacing.
Crazy? Oh, yeah! You see, for quite a few years the Lord was slowly working on me to start a blog. The inspiration became tucked away in the back of my mind. My tech skills were nonexistent at the time and I struggled with the idea of starting a blog. I’m a shy introvert (it doesn’t mean I don’t like to make friends and socialize ;)) so making myself vulnerable and putting myself out there isn’t the most pleasant thing on earth to do. As a child of God I didn’t want to disobey Him. So, who knows, I probably may have never started one without Him calling me to it.
During this lonely and exhausting season, it was actually a wonderful experience for my mind to focus on something creative. This helped my mind stay sane. 😉 It gave me something to look forward to as opposed to the constant reminder of my misery of feeling overly exhausted. I also learned, during this season, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)!
